Change a Life — Become a Foster
Fostering changes everything. It gives rescue dogs the chance to live in a loving home, experience family life, and begin to heal while they wait for adoption.
As a foster parent, your goal is to help your rescue dog find their forever home. You’ll provide a safe, nurturing environment, bring your foster to adoption events, and stay in touch with the ranch through regular check-ins.
Every foster journey is unique—some dogs may stay only a few days, while others may need a few months of care and patience. We’ll always provide you with details about your specific foster dog and what to expect before they come home with you.
Together, we can change lives—one dog, one home, one heart at a time.
Doggy Day Out
Spend an hour—or an entire day—making a rescue dog’s world a little brighter!
Doggy Day Out is our short-term foster program that lets members of the community take a dog from Three Thorn Ranch Rescue on a special adventure.
Your outing could be a peaceful hike, a cozy trip to Starbucks for a Puppuccino, or a fun shopping visit to a local pet store. These field trips help our rescue dogs socialize, release energy, and gain valuable exposure to potential adopters.
No long-term commitment or extensive training is required—just your time, kindness, and willingness to share a little love and adventure.
